Full Time | Special Education Teacher in Centreville

As a special education teacher, you'll be responsible for designing and delivering effective instruction per students’ individual learning needs, developing and authoring compliant Individual Education Plans, and providing seamless collaboration with general education, families and the school environment as a whole.
 

• August 2023 – May 2024
• W2 contract 
• Hourly pay starting at: $37 
• Full Time:30+ hours per week 
• This is an elementary intensive instructional support program.
• Develops, completes, and maintains all paperwork mandated by local, state, and federal guidelines, laws, and regulations.
• Maintains knowledge of special education teaching methods, research, and best practices through professional development and study.
• Establishes and enforces classroom management structure and rules that ensure the academic engagement and the physical and mental safety of all students.
• Celebrates the achievements and successes of students.
• Director of special education will provide more information during the interview.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in education 
• An active special education teaching license in Michigan.
