Job Description:

If so, we invite you to join our dedicated team as a Full-Time Special Education Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year in New Oxford, PA.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Provide instruction and support to students with various disabilities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Participate in professional development and team meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
  • Pennsylvania teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Experience working with students with special needs preferred but not required; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
