Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Opportunity
Soliant is in search of a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at a school in close proximity to Okeechobee, FL. Position Details:
• Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist
• Employment Type: Full-time (35+ hours)
• Duration: Immediate start - End of School Year (EOSY) and potential extension into Next School Year (NSY)
• Location: Near Okeechobee, FL
Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students experiencing speech, language, and swallowing challenges.
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes, working collaboratively with the Individualized Education Program (IEP) team.
• Administer therapy sessions to students with diverse needs, focusing on areas including articulation, fluency, voice, language comprehension, and expression.
• Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and fellow professionals to seamlessly integrate therapy objectives into students' academic curriculum and daily activities.
Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Valid license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Preferably holds Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• Proficient understanding of speech and language disorders, assessment methodologies, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
