Job Description:
About Us: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Pacific Grove, California. Our organization is committed to providing high-quality speech-language therapy services to students in K-12 with moderate/severe communication disorders. Position Overview: As a Full-Time SLP, you will work with a diverse caseload of K-12 students in a variety of educational settings. This is an itinerant position, offering the opportunity to collaborate with a supportive team and make a positive impact on the academic and social development of students with communication challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals
- Stay current with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology
Requirements:
- California SLP License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience working in school settings is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dedication to improving the communication skills of students with moderate/severe disabilities
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
