This full-time position offers the chance to work across three different school sites, providing speech and language support to approximately 40 students. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's specific communication goals.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to integrate speech and language strategies into the educational curriculum.
- Monitor and document student progress, collecting data and reporting outcomes to the educational team.
- Offer guidance and support to students, helping them improve their speech and language abilities and fostering effective communication.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 40 students across three different school sites.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages communication and language development.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- California state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong commitment to providing high-quality speech and language services to students.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, colleagues, and other professionals.
