Job Type: Full-Time

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 23-24 school year. This position will involve working with a preschool caseload and will require some travel. As an SLP, you will be responsible for conducting initial evaluations, re-evaluations, attending case conferences, developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and providing direct and consultation services to students. Please note that duties may vary slightly if applying as an SLPA.

Requirements:

  • Active Indiana license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member, either as a leader or participant
  • Willingness to accept direction and complete assigned tasks on time
  • Strong multitasking skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
  • Willingness to travel between multiple school buildings and sites using personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided)
  • Must pass a drug screening

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations for students
  • Attend case conferences to discuss students' progress and develop appropriate strategies
  • Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with the team
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students
  • Offer consultation services to teachers and other staff members
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and services provided

Compensation:

  • Pay range: $38-$46 per hour
  • Competitive weekly W2 pay
