Full Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Soliant Health is partnering with a school district in Bunker Hill, IN to hire a Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. This is a full-time position requiring onsite presence. The specific caseload will be discussed during the interview process.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment results
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in individual and group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills and academic success
• Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' individualized education plans
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation of therapy services and student progress

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Valid Indiana state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
• ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) certification is preferred
• Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school setting
• Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and appropriate therapy techniques
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
