Soliant Health is currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district in Lynn, MA for the 23-24 school year. This is a full-time position that requires working onsite within the school district. Both SLPs with their CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) and CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and student goals
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with various speech and language disorders or delays
  • Address areas such as articulation, phonology, expressive and receptive language, fluency, and social communication skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' communication needs in the classroom and other settings
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to contribute to goal development and progress monitoring
  • Document and track student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed
  • Stay informed about best practices and evidence-based interventions in the field of speech-language pathology
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student evaluations, therapy sessions, and reports

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Massachusetts
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) for experienced SLPs
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion or eligibility for CFY for new graduates
  • Previous experience working as an SLP in a school or pediatric setting is preferred
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapy skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines in the field of speech-language pathology
