Soliant Health is currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district in Lynn, MA for the 23-24 school year. This is a full-time position that requires working onsite within the school district. Both SLPs with their CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) and CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) candidates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and student goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students with various speech and language disorders or delays
- Address areas such as articulation, phonology, expressive and receptive language, fluency, and social communication skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' communication needs in the classroom and other settings
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to contribute to goal development and progress monitoring
- Document and track student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed
- Stay informed about best practices and evidence-based interventions in the field of speech-language pathology
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student evaluations, therapy sessions, and reports
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Massachusetts
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) for experienced SLPs
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion or eligibility for CFY for new graduates
- Previous experience working as an SLP in a school or pediatric setting is preferred
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapy skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines in the field of speech-language pathology
