Soliant Health is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district in Holyoke, MA for the 23-24 school year. As an SLP, you will be responsible for providing speech and language therapy services to students in the school setting. This is a full-time position that requires working onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students' specific goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills in the classroom
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed
- Attend IEP meetings and provide input on students' goals and progress
- Stay updated on current research and best practices in speech and language therapy
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure or ability to obtain appropriate state licensure
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and their treatment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
