Full-Time Speech Pathologist (SLP) opening for the 23/24 School Year

A school in the Ellicott CIty, Maryland area is currently seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. The position entails working with a students, conducting evaluations, diagnosing speech disorders, and developing individualized treatment plans. Caseload will be based on candidates experience and preference. Full time is preferred but part time will be considered. 

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and provide treatment for communication disorders
• Develop customized treatment plans to address the unique needs of diverse patients
• Conduct screenings to identify voice or speech disorders
• Educate staff and their families on speech disorders, including causes related to disabilities and traumatic events
• Maintain detailed records of student conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress

Experience:

• Prior experience in the field of Speech Language Pathology is required
• Experience in a school setting is preferred

Education:

• Must possess a master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Full accreditation (CCC) is preferred
• Must be at least in the Clinical Fellowship Year of the SLP program

Certifications:

• Active Maryland SLP license is required
