Job Description: As a Speech Therapist (SLP) in our organization, you will play a crucial role in supporting the speech and language needs of our students. You will work closely with students, educators, and parents to assess, diagnose, and provide therapy to help students overcome communication challenges. This is a full-time position for the 2023-2024 school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify students' communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized speech therapy plans.
- Provide therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
- Monitor and document students' progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and provide input on student progress and goals.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Colorado state licensure as a Speech Therapist (SLP).
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for helping students succeed.
