About the position:
Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Job Duration: Summer and 23/24 school year
Job Type: Full time, Contract
Job Summary: As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work directly with a high school student with developmental disabilities, implementing behavioral interventions under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans designed by the BCBA to support a 7th grade male student
- Collect and analyze data on behavior and skill acquisition
- Provide one-on-one direct therapy to student in a school settings
- Teach functional communication, social skills, and adaptive living skills
- Conduct behavior assessments and assist in developing behavior support plans
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records
Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, preferably in an ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) setting
COMPENSATION:
Negotiable and competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications
W2 employee contract for the 23/24 school year, with renewals available for a great fit
Paid for all hours worked
