We have an exciting opening for a fully remote Speech Language Pathologist at a private school in Massachusetts. Position Details:

  • Job Title: Remote Speech Language Pathologist
  • Contract Type: Full-Time
  • Start Date: September - End of School Year
  • Location: Massachusetts (Fully Remote)

Responsibilities: As a remote Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' speech and language development through virtual sessions. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and in collaboration with the IEP team.
  • Providing virtual therapy services to students in 1:1 or very small group settings.
  • Targeting areas such as articulation, language comprehension, expressive language, and social communication.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into the students' educational plans.
  • Participating in virtual IEP meetings and providing progress reports to parents and the school team.
  • Monitoring student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and documenting all therapy sessions and student outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Previous experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong understanding of assessment tools and techniques for speech and language disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with virtual therapy platforms and tools.
