Garfield Heights, OH: Preschool Speech-Language Pathologist (Contract)

Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists based in Cleveland, OH that are seeking a contract assignment to work with preschool students! Soliant has partnered with a small, local school district near Garfield Heights, and is seeking SLPs for the remainder of the school year.

Primary responsibilities as follows:

• Assess children in preschool programs who are referred for possible speech and language needs.
• Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
• Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents and school staff
• Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
• Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
• Provide reports of a student’s progress to parents.

We seek candidates with the following skills and attributes:

• Excellent communication
• Solid organization
• Up-to-date knowledge of Ohio Special Education procedures and best practices for SLPs working with children aged 3-4
• Professionalism and accountability

Requirements:

• Ohio SLP license
• Clearances mandated by the Ohio Department of Education
