We are seeking a qualified and passionate General Education Teacher to join our educational institution in Georgia. As a General Education Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and assessing instruction for students in a diverse classroom setting. You will work closely with students, parents, and other faculty members to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic growth and personal development. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, a strong commitment to student success, and the ability to adapt to the varying needs of students.

Responsibilities:

  1. Employ a variety of instructional strategies and resources to engage students in the learning process and accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  2. Provide clear and concise explanations of subject matter, and facilitate meaningful discussions to enhance students' understanding and critical thinking skills.
  3. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and active participation among students.
  4. Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, and provide timely feedback to students and parents/guardians on academic performance and areas for improvement.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant data in accordance with school policies.
  6. Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress, address concerns, and foster a strong home-school partnership.
  7. Adhere to all school policies, procedures, and professional ethics, and serve as a positive role model for students.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  2. A valid teaching certification in Georgia is required.
  3. Knowledge of the Georgia Standards of Excellence (GSE) and instructional best practices.
  4. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues.
  6. Proficiency in using educational technology and instructional resources to enhance teaching and learning.
  7. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the individual needs of students and adjust instruction accordingly.
  8. Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively plan lessons, assess student progress, and maintain accurate records.
  9. Dedication to professional growth and a commitment to staying updated on current educational research and best practices.
