Apply NowWe are seeking a qualified and passionate General Education Teacher to join our educational institution in Georgia. As a General Education Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and assessing instruction for students in a diverse classroom setting. You will work closely with students, parents, and other faculty members to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic growth and personal development. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, a strong commitment to student success, and the ability to adapt to the varying needs of students.
Responsibilities:
- Employ a variety of instructional strategies and resources to engage students in the learning process and accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Provide clear and concise explanations of subject matter, and facilitate meaningful discussions to enhance students' understanding and critical thinking skills.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and active participation among students.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, and provide timely feedback to students and parents/guardians on academic performance and areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant data in accordance with school policies.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress, address concerns, and foster a strong home-school partnership.
- Adhere to all school policies, procedures, and professional ethics, and serve as a positive role model for students.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- A valid teaching certification in Georgia is required.
- Knowledge of the Georgia Standards of Excellence (GSE) and instructional best practices.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and instructional resources to enhance teaching and learning.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the individual needs of students and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively plan lessons, assess student progress, and maintain accurate records.
- Dedication to professional growth and a commitment to staying updated on current educational research and best practices.
