Job Title: General Education (Gen Ed) Teacher

Job Description: Soliant Health is currently seeking qualified and enthusiastic General Education (Gen Ed) Teachers to fill multiple openings for the 2023-2024 academic year. This is an onsite-only position, and we are looking for teachers who specialize in Math, Science, ELA/Reading, and Social Studies. The age groups of the students will be Middle School and High School.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum standards for the respective subject area.
- Employ effective teaching strategies to facilitate active learning and student engagement.
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support their academic growth.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and mutual respect.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive educational experience for students.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and assessments.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification in the state of Georgia.
- Experience teaching the respective subject area(s) at the middle school or high school level.
- Strong knowledge of the subject matter and the ability to effectively convey it to students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
