Soliant is currently looking for a Registered Nurse for a school district in the Orcutt, California area. RNs with pediatric or prior school experience are preferred. General school nursing duties, including sick visits, feedings, parent calls, medication administration, etc. No nights or weekends. Great, steady daytime schedule. Job details:

• Full-time.
• 2023-24 school year.
• $37-$50/hr depending on experience.
• Caseload includes grades K through 12^th.
• Virtual interview process.

General Responsibilities:

• Provide basic healthcare to students in case of injury or acute illness.
• Develop health plans for students with chronic illnesses and disabilities.
• Educate students and staff on healthy habits, such as proper nutrition and hygiene .
• Detect health problems in early stages through regular screenings.
• Keep track of students’ vaccination records.
• Update students’ medical history .
• Ensure school environment is safe for children and school staff (e.g. prevention of communicable diseases).
• Ensure compliance with national and local health laws.
