Apply NowA school district is currently arranging interviews for a School Social Worker to start ASAP working within the school setting onsite.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required: Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related
field. Currently holds and maintains LCSW or LMHC and DESE licensure as a School Social Worker/School Adjustment Counselor. Strongly Preferred: Currently holds and maintains LICSW. Three years experience providing school based services to children/adolescents and consulting with school personnel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to uphold confidentiality at all times. Knowledge of DESE laws/regulations and their application within a collaborative setting. Upholds ethical standards of professional license held.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Clinician works directly under the supervision of the Program Director/ Program Lead or designee to provide direct and indirect services including but not limited to:
Direct: assessment, development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs, individual and group counseling, crisis prevention and assessment, use of evidence based practices
Indirect: case management, consultation and collaboration with multiple stakeholders including school personnel, families and community based agencies.
