Location: Eureka, CA

Schedule: 10-hour shifts. 7 on/7 off or 8 on/ 6 off- variable days and afternoons shifts

Job Responsibilities:

• Preceptorship of Pharmacy Students
• Accurate and Efficient CPOE/Order Entry into the Electronic Medical Record
• Accurate Verification of Non-Hazardous and Hazardous Compounded Sterile Preparations
• Accurate Verification, Dispensing, Labeling and Waste of Medications
• Clinical Performance with Patient Care: Emergency Codes, Clinical Consultations, Sentri 7, PDOC, and AMS
• Collaboration, Professionalism, Effective Communication, Time Management & Efficiency
• Process Improvement and Clinical Development of Program & Skill Set
• Provision of Education: Patient, Emergency Services, Pharmacy Services, Medical Staff, Nursing, Interdisciplinary, and Community
• Ambassadorship: Patients, Medical Staff, Nursing, Pharmacy Colleagues, Interdisciplinary Colleagues

Ideal Candidate:

• Licensed as a California Pharmacist
• PGY-1 or PGY-2 preferred, but not required
• Full time availability
• Fully COVID-19 Vaccinated
