High School Math Teacher near Sacramento, CA

We are seeking a dedicated High School Math Teacher for a full-time position during the 2023-2024 school year at our school.

Responsibilities:

1. Uphold a professional and exemplary demeanor, serving as a role model to students by demonstrating good conduct, a commitment to learning, a strong work ethic, and ethical values.
2. Develop and implement lesson plans that deliver approved curriculum content within your field of expertise.
3. Foster students' growth by teaching appropriate social interaction, effective communication, and classroom etiquette.
4. Assess student abilities, strengths, and weaknesses in the classroom and maintain communication with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress.
5. Prepare students for state-required standardized testing.
6. Evaluate student assignments, assessments, quizzes, and examinations.
7. Supervise students both inside and outside the classroom, including during lunch, recess, and after-school activities.
8. Perform additional duties as assigned by school administration when deemed necessary.

Requirements:

1. Active State Educator Licensure
2. Previous teaching experience in a school setting is preferred, though not mandatory.
