Job Summary:

The school district is actively seeking a dedicated and qualified Math Teacher to join our team as soon as possible. This is a full-time position for the entire school year. We offer a supportive and collaborative work environment in a high school setting, specifically within the Early College Academy.

Responsibilities:

• Instruct high school students in integrated Math 1-3 courses.
• Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Assess and evaluate student progress regularly.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
• Provide additional support to students who may require it.
• Stay current with educational trends and integrate innovative teaching methods into the curriculum.
• Prepare students for standardized tests and college readiness.
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences and other school-related events as required.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions.
• Uphold all district policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid teaching certification in the state of California.
• Previous experience teaching integrated Math 1-3 at the high school level.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
• Adherence to professional ethics and standards.
