Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality math instruction to high school students in the Early College Academy.
• Create engaging and effective lesson plans that align with state standards and curriculum guidelines.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning.
• Assess student progress through various forms of evaluation and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching techniques and educational initiatives.
• Participate in school-wide and departmental meetings, as well as parent-teacher conferences.
• Provide academic support and guidance to students, helping them achieve their math-related goals.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.

Qualifications:

• A valid California teaching credential with authorization to teach high school math.
• Proven experience teaching integrated Math 1-3 at the high school level.
• Strong commitment to providing high-quality education to students and helping them succeed in math.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Dedication to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
