Job Description: Soliant is currently seeking a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) to join our team near the Anchor, TX area. This position offers a new career opportunity for those looking for a change. As an LSSP, you will be responsible for working with students with multiple disabilities, conducting testing and reporting for initials and re-evaluations, and providing support to a caseload of approximately 350 students. Responsibilities:
- Provide school psychological services to students with multiple disabilities
- Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations for students with Autism (AU), Emotional Disturbance (ED), and Other Health Impairment (OHI)
- Administer assessments and interpret results to determine students' eligibility for special education services
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, evaluations, and progress reports
Working Hours:
- Part-time position, 2-3 days per week
- August 15, 2023, to May 31, 2024
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctoral level degree in School Psychology
- Valid licensure through the state board as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP)
- Knowledge of assessment tools and evaluation procedures for Autism, Emotional Disturbance, and Other Health Impairment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
