Job Description: Soliant is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team near the East Compton, CA area. This is a contracted position for the extended school year. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide nursing care and support to students within a school setting.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and provide medical treatments as prescribed
• Assess and monitor students' health conditions and respond to medical emergencies
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to develop and implement healthcare plans for students with special medical needs
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records and documentation
• Educate and train school staff on relevant healthcare procedures and protocols
• Promote health and wellness initiatives within the school community
• Provide support and guidance to students with chronic health conditions

Requirements:

• Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
• Experience in pediatric or school nursing is preferred
• Knowledge of relevant healthcare laws, regulations, and best practices
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
