Job Description: Soliant is currently seeking a School Psychologist to join our team near the Avery, GA area. This is a contracted position starting from August 1st and lasting for approximately 6 to 7 weeks until the middle of September. As a School Psychologist, you will work full-time, Monday to Friday, with a schedule of 7:15 AM to 2:15 PM (7.5 hours per day). Your duties will include testing and report writing, leading eligibility meetings, and participating in Response to Intervention (RTI) meetings to support the teams involved. You will be part of a team of approximately 30 individuals, and the caseload consists of roughly 900 students. The ideal candidate for this position is experienced, a great communicator, skilled in time management and organization, flexible, and works well with other staff members.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • State board licensure as a School Psychologist

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' academic, cognitive, social, and emotional needs
  • Administer and interpret standardized tests and other assessment tools
  • Write comprehensive evaluation reports with recommendations for intervention and support
  • Lead eligibility meetings to determine special education services for students
  • Participate in RTI meetings to support students' academic and behavioral needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop intervention plans and accommodations
  • Provide counseling and support to students, addressing their emotional and behavioral challenges

Work Hours:

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:15 AM to 2:15 PM (7.5 hours per day)
