Job Title: School Psychologist

Job Type: Contracted position for the remainder of the 2023 school year
Job Description: Soliant is currently seeking a School Psychologist to join our team near the Demorest, GA area. This is a contracted position starting as soon as possible and lasting until the end of the school year. As a School Psychologist, you will work full-time, Monday to Friday, with a schedule of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (40 hours per week). Your duties will include evaluating students' eligibility for shift work sleep disorder, completing psychological reports and eligibility reports, attending eligibility meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and participating in Student Support Team (SST) meetings. The caseload will consist of elementary and secondary students across up to three locations.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Georgia licensure certification as a School Psychologist
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' academic, cognitive, social, and emotional needs
- Administer and interpret standardized tests and other assessment tools
- Prepare comprehensive psychological reports and eligibility reports
- Attend eligibility meetings and IEP meetings to contribute to the development of appropriate services and supports for students
- Participate in SST meetings to discuss student needs and interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement intervention plans
- Provide counseling and support to students, addressing their social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
Work Hours:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (40 hours per week)
