Job Description: Soliant is currently hiring a School Psychologist to join a supportive team near the Waleska, GA area. This is a full-time position that requires in-person work. As a School Psychologist, you will be serving two schools, with three days at the high school and two days at the elementary school (subject to change). Previous experience as a School Psychologist is required. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive evaluations for special education eligibility, leading eligibility meetings, attending RTI Tier 3 and 504 meetings, and consulting with staff and parents regarding student needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations for special education eligibility
  • Lead eligibility meetings and provide recommendations
  • Attend RTI Tier 3 and 504 meetings to support students' academic and behavioral needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop intervention plans
  • Provide counseling and support services to students as needed
  • Consult with staff and parents regarding student needs and interventions
  • Monitor and document students' progress and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
  • Stay current with best practices in school psychology and special education

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral level degree in School Psychology
  • Must be licensed through the state board as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience as a School Psychologist is required
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools and techniques for evaluating students' cognitive, academic, and social-emotional functioning
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, parents, and school staff
  • Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
