Job Type: Contracted position for the 2023-2024 school year

Job Description: Soliant is currently hiring a School Psychologist to join a supportive team near the Whitney, GA area. This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week, including lunch. The contracted dates are from August 7, 2023, to May 30, 2024. As a School Psychologist, you will be working on-site at 2-3 school sites with minimal driving between sites in one day. Your general responsibilities will include conducting re-evaluations and scoring assessments.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct re-evaluations of students to assess their academic, cognitive, and social-emotional functioning
  • Administer and score assessments to gather relevant data
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop intervention plans
  • Provide counseling and support services to students as needed
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide recommendations
  • Monitor and document students' progress and adjust intervention plans as necessary
  • Stay current with best practices in school psychology and special education

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral level degree in School Psychology
  • Must be licensed through the state board as a School Psychologist
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools and techniques for evaluating students' cognitive, academic, and social-emotional functioning
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, parents, and school staff
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
