Job Title: School Psychologist

Job Description: Soliant is seeking a skilled and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team near the North High Shoals, GA area. This is a contracted position for the 2023-2024 school year. As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' academic and emotional well-being. Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial evaluations, re-evaluations, and assessments to identify students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed
• Interpret assessment results and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress and make recommendations for educational supports and accommodations
• Provide consultation and support to teachers and staff regarding students' educational and behavioral needs
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral level degree in School Psychology
• State licensure through the state board
• State education certification in Special Education or School Psychology
• Experience working in a school setting is preferred but not required
