Job Title: School Psychologist
Job Description: Soliant is currently seeking a qualified and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team near the Sutallee, GA area. This is a contracted position for the 2023-2024 school year. As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in assessing students' needs, providing support, and collaborating with educators and parents to promote student success. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine special education eligibility
- Lead and participate in eligibility meetings
- Attend RTI Tier 3 and 504 meetings
- Consult with staff and parents to address students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop individualized intervention plans
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as necessary
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records
- Stay updated on best practices in the field of school psychology
Details:
- Full-time position
- In-person work
- Serving two schools: 3 days at the high school and 3 days at the elementary school per week (subject to change)
- Previous experience is required
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral level degree in School Psychology
- State licensure through the state board
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and evaluation processes
- Previous experience in a school setting is required
