Job Title: School Psychologist

Job Description: Soliant is currently seeking a qualified and experienced School Psychologist to join our team near the Ball Ground, GA area. This is a contracted position for the beginning of the 2023-2024 school year. As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in assessing students' needs, providing support, and collaborating with educators and parents to promote student success. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Write comprehensive reports based on assessment findings
  • Lead eligibility meetings and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
  • Support Response to Intervention (RTI) teams by attending meetings and providing input
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement intervention plans
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
  • Work collaboratively with a team of approximately 30 staff members
  • Serve one elementary site with a caseload of approximately 900 students
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, time management, organization, and flexibility

Details:

  • Start date: August 1st
  • End date: Middle of September (6-7 weeks)
  • Full-time position
  • 7.5 hours per day (unpaid lunch)
  • Elementary schedule: 7:15 AM to 2:15 PM
  • On-site work at the elementary school
  • Ideal candidate is experienced and possesses strong communication and organizational skills

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral level degree in School Psychology
  • State licensure through the state board
  • Previous experience as a School Psychologist is required
