Job Title: School Psychologist
Job Description: Soliant is currently seeking a qualified and experienced School Psychologist to join our team near the Ball Ground, GA area. This is a contracted position for the beginning of the 2023-2024 school year. As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in assessing students' needs, providing support, and collaborating with educators and parents to promote student success. Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Write comprehensive reports based on assessment findings
- Lead eligibility meetings and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Support Response to Intervention (RTI) teams by attending meetings and providing input
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement intervention plans
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Work collaboratively with a team of approximately 30 staff members
- Serve one elementary site with a caseload of approximately 900 students
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, time management, organization, and flexibility
Details:
- Start date: August 1st
- End date: Middle of September (6-7 weeks)
- Full-time position
- 7.5 hours per day (unpaid lunch)
- Elementary schedule: 7:15 AM to 2:15 PM
- On-site work at the elementary school
- Ideal candidate is experienced and possesses strong communication and organizational skills
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral level degree in School Psychology
- State licensure through the state board
- Previous experience as a School Psychologist is required
