Job Description: Soliant is currently hiring a School Psychologist to join a supportive team near the Leonard, OK area. This is a full-time position for the duration of the school year, starting from August 1, 2023, to May 31, 2024. As a School Psychologist, your responsibilities will include conducting testing, evaluations, re-evaluations, and report writing for students in grades K-12.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to determine students' strengths and areas of need
• Administer standardized tests and interpret assessment results
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop appropriate interventions and support plans
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input regarding students' educational needs
• Write comprehensive evaluation reports and make recommendations for educational programming and support services
• Monitor students' progress and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and support plans
• Provide counseling and support services to students as needed
• Stay updated on best practices and research in the field of school psychology

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral level degree in School Psychology or a related field
• Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist in Oklahoma
• Experience conducting assessments and evaluations in an educational setting
• Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Empathy and understanding of students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs
