Job Type: Contracted position for the extended 2023 and 2023-2024 school year

Job Description: Soliant is currently seeking a School Psychologist to join our team near the Pierce, TX area. This is a contracted position that includes both the Extended School Year (ESY) and the Regular School Year (NSY). For ESY, the position is part-time, with work taking place from June to July, 2-3 days per week, 5 hours per day. For NSY, the position is full-time. As a School Psychologist, you will be traveling to three school sites that are 15 minutes away from one another. Your main duties will include testing, evaluations, re-evaluations, and report writing.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
• State board licensure as a School Psychologist

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional needs
• Administer and interpret standardized tests to assess students' abilities and identify areas of concern
• Write comprehensive evaluation reports, including recommendations for intervention and support
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and support plans
• Provide counseling and intervention services to students, addressing emotional and behavioral challenges
• Travel to multiple school sites, ensuring consistent and comprehensive support across locations

Work Hours:

• ESY: Part-time (June-July, 2-3 days per week, 5 hours per day)
• NSY: Full-time (30 hours per week)
