Job Title: School Psychologist

Job Description: Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team near the Burr, TX area. This is a contracted position for both the extended 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 school years. As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Responsibilities:

• Conduct testing, evaluations, and re-evaluations to assess students' cognitive abilities, academic skills, social-emotional functioning, and behavioral needs
• Interpret assessment results and provide comprehensive reports to relevant stakeholders
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed
• Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop appropriate educational plans
• Travel to three school sites within a 15-minute radius of each other
• Participate in professional development activities to stay updated on best practices in the field of school psychology

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral level degree in School Psychology
• State licensure through the state board
• Experience in conducting assessments and providing intervention services in a school setting is preferred
• Strong knowledge of special education processes and regulations
