Job Description: Soliant is currently seeking Sign Language Interpreters for multiple openings near the Arcadia, OK area. We are hiring two full-time positions and one part-time position. As a Sign Language Interpreter, you will work with middle and high school students who are deaf or hard of hearing and are mainstreamed in general education classrooms. Responsibilities:

• Provide sign language interpretation for deaf or hard of hearing students in educational settings
• Interpret classroom lectures, discussions, and other educational materials
• Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and peers
• Assist with classroom activities and ensure access to curriculum
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' learning needs

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Level Degree in ASL or Educational Interpreting
• Must have an EIPA score of 3.5 or QAST level 3 for educational interpreting
• Previous experience as a sign language interpreter in an educational setting is preferred
• Strong proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Knowledge of deaf culture and the needs of deaf and hard of hearing students
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid state licensure or certification, as required
