Job Description:

Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated Special Education Assessment-Only Teacher for a contracted position near the Interlaken, CA area. This position offers a unique opportunity to focus on academic assessments and support students from PreK to 12th grade as part of the special education team.

Key Details:

• Position: Special Education Assessment-Only Teacher
• Duration: Full-time, August 16, 2023 - June 7, 2024
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week with a 30-minute unpaid lunch (7.5 hours per day)
• Responsibilities: The Special Education Assessment-Only Teacher will be primarily responsible for providing academic assessments, writing assessment reports, writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and case managing through the completion of the initial meeting. This position does not involve traditional teaching duties.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in special education or a master’s or doctoral degree in Special Education or Teaching Students with Special Needs
• License: Active Special Education State Teaching License
