Job Title: Special Education Teacher

Job Description: Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher to join our team near the Manville, NJ area. This is a contracted position for the remainder of the current school year. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing specialized instruction and support to students with special needs. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Provide specialized instruction in accordance with students' IEP goals and objectives
• Adapt and modify curriculum materials to meet students' unique learning needs
• Monitor student progress and make necessary instructional adjustments
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure the successful inclusion of students with special needs
• Conduct assessments and participate in the evaluation process for determining special education eligibility
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and documentation
• Stay informed about best practices in special education and implement evidence-based instructional strategies

Details:

• Full-time position
• Contracted position for the remainder of the current school year

• ELA certification required
• Must be licensed in New Jersey

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, followed by a master's or higher degree in Special Education or Teaching Students with Special Needs
• State education certification in Special Education
• Experience working with students with special needs is preferred
