Position Details:

• Contract Duration: ASAP - June 14, 2024
• Hours: Full-time
• Caseload: High school, Elementary CI (Comprehensive Independence) room
  • Students: 7 students, with 2 paraprofessionals available for assistance in the classroom

Responsibilities:

As a Special Education Teacher, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Adapting curriculum materials and teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Collaborating with other educators, specialists, and parents to address students' educational goals.
• Providing support and guidance to paraprofessionals in the classroom.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in special education or a Master’s/Doctoral Degree in Special Education or Teaching Students with Special Needs
• Licensure: Active Special Education State Teaching License
