Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist
Location Near: Carbona, CA
Job Type: Contracted position for the 2023-2024 school year
Job Description: Soliant is currently seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join a supportive team near the Carbona, CA area. This position is a part-time role, working three days per week from 8 am to 4 pm. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing speech and language services to a caseload of approximately 30 students. Your duties will include servicing students, acting as a case manager, conducting testing and assessments, collecting data, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language services to students with communication disorders
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals for students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills in academic and social settings
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate educational plans
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology
Qualifications:
- Master's level degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with school-aged children is preferred
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
