Job Type: Contracted position for the 2023-2024 school year

Job Description: Soliant is currently hiring an Audiologist to join a supportive team near the Resolis, CO area. This position is part-time, requiring 20 hours per week, and is contracted for the 2023-2024 school year. As an Audiologist, you will work with a caseload of approximately 40 students and travel between multiple school sites. Your role will involve providing audiological services, conducting assessments, and supporting students with hearing loss or auditory difficulties.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations and assessments
• Administer and interpret hearing tests and screenings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement intervention plans
• Provide individualized support and accommodations for students with hearing loss
• Assist in the selection, fitting, and maintenance of hearing aids and other assistive listening devices
• Provide training and consultation to teachers and staff on strategies to support students with hearing difficulties
• Monitor and document students' progress and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
• Stay current with advances in audiology and assistive technology

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral level degree in Audiology
• Valid state licensure as an Audiologist
• Experience working with students with hearing loss or auditory difficulties is preferred
• Knowledge of audiological assessment techniques and procedures
• Familiarity with hearing aids and assistive listening devices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel between multiple school sites
