Hiring - Occupational Therapist

Job Title: School Occupational Therapist (OT) 

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in the Dedham, MA area for the 23/24 school year. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in evidence-based OT practices, possess strong communication and organizational skills, and have experience working with school-aged children.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting assessments to identify students' occupational therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Providing direct occupational therapy services to students in individual or group settings
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' progress
• Monitoring and documenting student progress towards goals
• Providing education and resources to parents and caregivers to support occupational therapy goals outside of the school setting

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Massachusetts state OT licensure or eligibility for licensure
• Experience working with school-aged children is preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of evidence-based occupational therapy practices
