Soliant is a leading provider of educational staffing services, dedicated to connecting talented professionals with schools in need. We are currently seeking passionate and qualified Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to join our team and support students for a district that is in Schaumburg, IL

Position Overview:
As a School-Based COTA, you will work collaboratively with occupational therapists and school staff to support students with diverse needs. Your role will involve implementing therapeutic interventions, assisting with assessments, and promoting student independence in daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy programs.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in various settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to student support.
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans.


Qualifications:

  • Valid Associate's Degree as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
  • Current Illinois State Issued COTA licensure or eligibility for licensure.
  • Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
