Home Health Physical Therapist (PT) in Prospect Park, PA

Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Health Physical Therapist to provide services to a visually impaired and hard of hearing student in their home in Prospect Park, PA. As a Home Health PT, you will play a crucial role in helping the student improve their physical abilities, mobility, and overall quality of life. You will work closely with the student and their family to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the student's physical abilities, limitations, and needs
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on improving mobility, strength, balance, and coordination
• Provide one-on-one physical therapy sessions to the student in their home
• Utilize appropriate therapeutic techniques and modalities to address the student's specific needs
• Collaborate with the student's family and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care
• Monitor and document the student's progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Provide guidance and education to the student and their family regarding exercises and strategies for promoting physical well-being and independence

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid Pennsylvania state license as a Physical Therapist
• Previous experience working with pediatric patients, particularly those with visual impairment and hearing loss, is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of pediatric physical therapy principles, techniques, and interventions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage time and resources

• Hours: 60 minutes per week (part-time)
