Home Infusion Pharmacy Technician Open Position !

Have sterile compounding experience? This position is for you! There is an open home infusion compounding position for a pharmacy technician. Responsibilities:

• Perform sterile compounding in a cleanroom environment. 
• Adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines 
• pulling medications and supplies to prep the IV room. 
• Sterilizing and cleaning the IV room per 797 guidelines 
• Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently. 
• Perform calculations to ensure accurate dosing and mixing of ingredients. 
• Maintain accurate records of compounding activities and patient information. 
• Regularly inspect and maintain compounding equipment and workspaces to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. 
• Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines governing pharmaceutical compounding. 
• Assist in filling prescriptions and handling data entry tasks when required. 
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure proper storage of medications. 
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care.

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

• Registration with the NC Board of Pharmacy unless enrolled in a PharmD program.
• CPhT from PTCB or ExCPT from NHA unless enrolled in a PharmD program.

Professional Experience Requirements:

• Prior pharmacy technician experience is preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:

• Recent pharmacy experience, with a preference for IV experience. 
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy. 
• Excellent organizational and time management skills. 
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. 
• Good communication and interpersonal skills. 

Schedule: Day shift, 8:30-5:00pm. 

Pay: $20-$24 (depending on experience)
