A skilled Physical Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of home health experience is needed for a contract position based in Ridgeley, WV. This opportunity involves delivering high-quality physical therapy services in a home health setting, supporting adult and geriatric patients. The role requires reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and appropriate licensure (VA or Compact License). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is also mandatory.

Location:
Located in Ridgeley, WV, this position services patients within the surrounding community, including Romney. The area offers a balance of small-town charm and access to regional amenities, making it an ideal setting for healthcare professionals who enjoy meaningful patient interactions in a home-based environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in their homes.
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 25 patients per week.
  • Maintain accurate documentation utilizing EPIC electronic medical records.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including RN, OT, SLP, and social workers.
  • Adhere to company and healthcare regulations and policies.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (four 10-hour days)
  • Every third weekend rotation required
  • No on-call or after-hours call responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of home health physical therapy experience
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the assigned territory
  • Current VA or Compact Physical Therapy license
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
