This position offers a contract opportunity as a Cath Lab Technologist specializing in imaging. The role involves working 40 hours per week with a schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., including on-call duties two weekends every six weeks and 2-3 additional on-call days during the week. This assignment lasts approximately 13 weeks.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate imaging equipment within the catheterization laboratory to assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
  • Monitor patient vitals and prepare patients for catheterization
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient procedure flow
  • Maintain and manage supplies and inventory through systems such as Pyxis
  • Document procedures and patient records using electronic health record systems like Epic
  • Respond promptly to on-call assignments, supporting emergency cases as needed

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Certification and experience as a Cath Lab Technologist with proficiency in imaging procedures
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification
  • Familiarity with Pyxis medication management systems, Merge Hemodynamics software, and Epic electronic health records
  • Ability to work flexible hours including on-call shifts on weekends and weekdays
