Seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician skilled in imaging to support cardiovascular procedures in a dynamic hospital environment. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work within a renowned academic medical center known for cutting-edge research and patient care excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the cardiology team during diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures
  • Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality angiograms and other cardiovascular images
  • Prepare the cath lab for procedures, including setting up sterile fields and ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are available
  • Monitor patient vital signs and assist in maintaining patient safety throughout procedures
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other team members to optimize workflow and patient outcomes
  • Adhere strictly to infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid certification as a Cath Lab Tech or equivalent credentials
  • Proven expertise in cardiovascular imaging, particularly in catheterization labs
  • Ability to operate fluoroscopy, angiography, and other specialized imaging equipment
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical setting
  • Prior experience in a hospital cath lab environment preferred
