Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment specific to the cardiac catheterization lab
- Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Ensure quality control and patient safety throughout imaging processes
- Prepare and handle contrast media and other supplies necessary for procedures
- Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly during catheterization procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation related to imaging and procedural details
Desired Experience:
- Proven expertise as a cath lab technologist with proficiency in cardiac imaging techniques
- Strong knowledge of catheterization lab protocols and sterile procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced clinical environment
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or equivalent preferred
