Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment specific to the cardiac catheterization lab
  • Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Ensure quality control and patient safety throughout imaging processes
  • Prepare and handle contrast media and other supplies necessary for procedures
  • Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly during catheterization procedures
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to imaging and procedural details

Desired Experience:

  • Proven expertise as a cath lab technologist with proficiency in cardiac imaging techniques
  • Strong knowledge of catheterization lab protocols and sterile procedures
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced clinical environment
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or equivalent preferred
