Cath Lab Tech in Bruceton Mills, WV

A specialized role is available for a skilled Cath Lab Technologist with expertise in Electrophysiology (EP) in Bruceton Mills, WV. This contract position offers a dynamic environment managing cardiology patients within a busy Cath Lab setting that includes three suites averaging 15-18 cases daily. Qualified candidates will assist physicians during procedures, maintain equipment and supplies, and manage documentation with a focus on EP and cardiac interventional technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scrub and assist in electrophysiology and cardiac intervention procedures.
• Circulate and monitor cases within the EP lab.
• Utilize EP recording systems and manage stockroom supplies.
• Familiarity with Impella, IABP, INARI devices, and advanced ablation techniques such as PVC, PT, Cryo, or transeptal.
• Participate in call coverage, including nights, weekends, and holidays with a 30-minute response time.
• Work within the Cath Lab and EP department exclusively.

Qualifications:

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Certified Cardiac Interventional Radiologic Technologist with ARRT CI verification required.
• Experience with EP recording systems and navigation technology (e.g., Carto, Abbott).
• WVRT license preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in device work and procedures including laser lead extractions.

Schedule & Location:

• Four 10-hour shifts, rotating between 6:00 AM–4:30 PM or 9:00 AM–7:30 PM.
• On-call duties including holiday and weekend rotations.
