This opportunity is for an experienced Imaging Cath Lab Technician to contribute specialized skills in a dynamic clinical setting. The role focuses on operating and maintaining imaging equipment within the cardiac catheterization laboratory to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac conditions.

Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Cath Lab Technician with strong imaging skills in cardiac catheterization procedures.
  • Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and related medical terminology.
  • Ability to operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment safely and effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Certification in relevant imaging and cardiac catheterization procedures preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and calibrate imaging equipment before and during procedures.
  • Assist physicians by capturing high-quality diagnostic images during catheterization.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and provide necessary support throughout procedures.
  • Maintain equipment according to safety standards and troubleshoot any issues.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols.
  • Document procedures accurately and support overall catheterization lab operations.

Schedule:

  • Four 10-hour days, offering an alternative to a traditional workweek.
  • Hours generally from early morning through mid-afternoon.
